Sergey is the founder and managing partner of Inventure. Sergey is responsible for strategic development and day-to-day management of Inventure Partners. He serves on boards of Cityscoot, Everoad, Deliver, Chronext, Ometria, 2can, OnlineTours and Independent Media.

Among Inventure’s remarkable exits are the sale of Gett to Volkswagen Group, bus ticketing platform Busfor, and education platform Netology Group.

Sergey has many years of entrepreneurial and investment experience. Sergey started his career in 1999, worked in investment banks and private equity. Sergey worked on such remarkable projects as IPO of MTS, reorganization of Svyazinvest, IPO of Irkut Corporation, and merger of Rostelecom.

Sergey graduated from Financial University and Harvard Business School, he is a PhD in economics. In 2015 Sergey was nominated for the Entrepreneur of the Year award by EY.

Evgeny Zaltsman is the Managing Partner of Inventure. During his career Evgeny invested, structured, managed, grew and turned around substantial businesses, including ones that are listed on international stock exchanges. Companies where Evgeny was involved in management increased its market position substantially and expanded the business. Evgeny has participated in numerous landmark domestic and cross-border transactions involving consumer goods, retail, financial services, technology, industrial, and transport sectors.

Since 2004 he worked in Deutsche Bank in the Corporate Finance department in Moscow. In 2008 Evgeny became the head of strategy and business development in a leading transport and infrastructure group in Russia, the N-Trans Group and took a similar position in one of its major assets, a container port operator Global Ports. Evgeny served as a Board member in all of Global Ports major marine terminals in Russia and in Europe.

During his time at N-Trans Evgeny participated in numerous transactions, including the IPOs and follow-on offerings on the London Stock Exchange of Global Ports and rail operator Globaltrans, the acquisition of several railway assets (MMK-Trans, Metalloinvesttrans) a leading container operator (NCC group), the sale of a stake in Global Ports to APM Terminals to name a few.

In summer 2017 Evgeny joined an investment fund Marathon Group as a third founder and a managing partner.

Mr. Zaltsman graduated from the Finance Academy under the Russian government with a degree in International Economic Relations. He also attended the MSc in Management programme in EM Lyon Business School (France).

Grigory has over 16-year experience in general corporate, M&A, IP, real estate and securities projects.

Before joining Inventure Partners, Grigory worked as Head of M&A at Nafta Moskva, one of the leading Russian investment groups. Grigory participated in transactions covering acquisition of stakes in one of the world’s major potash producer, major mining and construction companies, as well as in financial recovery of a major construction company, and setting-up JVs for mining companies.

Prior to that, Grigory worked in leading international law firms – Clifford Chance and Denton Wilde Sapte. As a part of his job, Grigory advised on M&A deals, as well as on squeezing-out procedures, IP and real estate deals, etc. for major Russian and international companies with focus at mining, sportswear, tobacco etc.
